

She worked many jobs but enjoyed most the food service field at the Holiday Inn Express. Jacquelyn enjoyed warm days at Kiwanis Beach, playing cards, crafting and holidays with her family. She was a jokester and enjoyed making people laugh and smile.
She is survived by three daughters Cyndi Douglass and her husband Wayne of Hiram, Jamie DeAngelis of Standish and Nancy Holmes of Buxton; two sons George Holmes and his wife Mary of Auburn, Scott Holmes and his Fiancé Tammy Fisher of Sabattus; fourteen grandchildren; and several great grandchildren. She also leaves her siblings Patricia Bird, Carole Dorr, Linda McKee, and Judy Hall. She is predeceased by her daughter Denise Amadon and siblings Sharon Johnson, Donna Merrithew and Michael Merrithew.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a celebration of her life on Sunday, April 26, 2015 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Portland Eagles, 184 St. John Street, Portland.
