

Biddeford, ME – James E. “Jim” Lombard Jr., 81, of Biddeford passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at his home with his family by his side. He was the husband of Elizabeth Jane (Halasz) Lombard.
Jim was born in Old Orchard Beach, ME on August 11, 1933, a son of the late James E. & Stella (Hayes) Lombard Sr.
He was very proud of the businesses he built within the community, including The Dairy Barn in Saco, which is now Skippers, Five Points Auto in Biddeford and Ossipee Lake Campground. His accomplishments also included Top Salesman at the Lee Auto Mall in Saco.
Jim’s passion was owning and training several Harness Horses throughout his life. He also enjoyed his frequent trips to Las Vegas. He was also a member of St. Jeans and the Eagles Club.
Besides his beloved wife of fifteen years Jane, he is survived by his children Kevin Lombard and his wife Sandy, Becky Bogdanovich and her husband Paul and Louis Waterhouse III and his wife Tara. He also leaves his five grandchildren, Joshua and Zachary Lombard and Lucy, Max and Caleb Bogdanovich, as well as a sister Ellen Couri and her husband Bob and several nieces and nephews. Jim was also the brother of the late John Lombard and the husband of the late Roberta “Bert” Lombard.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
