

Jonathan was born in Lynn Massachusetts on May 2, 1963, grew up in the North Shore of Massachusetts and later made his home in Maine. He shared 30 wonderful years with his partner, Dennis Ricker, building a life together filled with love, laughter, and countless adventures. Through all those years, Dennis was not only Jonathan's partner, but his companion through everything life brought their way.
Jonathan was funny, charismatic, loving, and truly a one of a kind character with an infectious laugh. He had a personality that drew people to him and a sense of humor that could fill a room with laughter. To know Jonathan was to have a story about him - and those stories and memories will be treasured for years to come.
Jonathan worked in the restaurant industry where his personality was truly able to shine. He loved gardening, interior design and being near the ocean. Jonathan also found great joy in creating abstract collage paintings utilizing iridescent layers of silk, paint and resin which were often inspired by nature.
He is survived by and is the beloved brother of Denise Gauthier and Tommy O'Leary. He also leaves behind his sister-in-law Wendy Giroux, as well as his much-loved nieces and nephews and the many family members and friends whose lives were made brighter simply by having Jonathan in them.
He was deeply loved and will never be forgotten
