Karen Ann Hersom

Wells- Karen Ann Hersom, 71, of Wells, passed away on Wednesday, December 11th, 2013 at her home surrounded by her children.  Karen was born July 18th, 1942, in Ridley Park Pennsylvania.  She was the daughter of the late Normal and Hazel (Rueblinger) Coppock. 

After graduating high school, Karen held many different jobs, including working at the front desk at the Norseman Hotel, driving a bus, driving a trolley and working as a CNA.  She enjoyed spending her time creating different kinds of jewelry, crocheting, cooking, gardening and walking along the beach. 

Karen is survived by her three Sons and a daughter; Dale and his wife Vicky Hersom, Stan and Samantha Hersom, Duane and Kellie Hersom, and Dawn Hersom.  Karen also leaves her grandchildren, Bridgette Desrochers, Tara Hersom, Tyler Palm, Duane Hersom Jr., Crystal Eldridge, Hannah Fisk, James Hersom, grace Hersom, Benjamin Hersom, Nathan Turnbull, and Perry Fortier; and her great grandchildren, Jenna Desrochers and Kiara Hussey; a brother, Robert and Linda Coppock; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. 

There will be a celebration of life at South Berwick Wells Christian Church at 612 Emery Bridge Road, South Berwick ME, 03908; on Wednesday, December 18th, 2013 from 4 PM to 7 PM.
