Kathleen was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who was known for her hard work and dedication to family. Kathleen spent many hours crocheting and cooking. She was well-known for her famous macaroni salad, which was sure to please at gatherings.
She was predeceased by her parents and husband.
She is survived by three sons, David Whitney, Gordon Whitney, and Charlie Whitney, three daughters, Geraldine Utley, Virginia Pelletier, and Joanne Turbide, and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. She will be missed and fondly remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
There will be a graveside service at Gracelawn Memorial Park, 980 Turner Street in Auburn, on Friday, May 1st at 1:00 PM. A collation will follow at Deering Center Community Church, 4 Brentwood Street, Portland, Maine.
