

Born on February 18, 1952 in Dexter, Maine. He was a beloved son of the late Dana & Maxine Curty.
Kevin was a devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather and cherished friend to many. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Ellen Lessard, his daughter Bethany Arsenault and husband Gary, his daughter Megan Schwartz and husband Patrick, his stepson Ross Lessard & wife Rebecca, his sister Brenda Nelson, his three deeply loved grandsons, Connor & Cooper Vose and Julian Arsenault. Kevin also leaves behind his mother-in-law, Rita Ross, three brother-in-laws, David Ross, Bill Ross & Jon Ross (and their families) and many nieces & nephews. Melodie Stewart Batson (mother of his children) and the Batson family.
Kevin will be remembered for his kind & loving heart, generosity, humor and strong love for his family. Kevin was a very social man and had made so many great friendships over his lifespan. One very special friend is Jay Mountain. Jay and Kevin grew up together since childhood. They were more than friends - they were brothers!
Kevin graduated from Dexter Regional High School in 1970. Kevin played Football, Basketball & Baseball setting many records. He was more than a high school athlete - he was a legend. Kevin lettered in all four years of high school. He received an invitation by The Philadelphia Phillies to try out in 1970. After high school, Kevin attended Thomas College and SMVTI. Where he also played several sports. In 2015, Kevin was inducted to Dexter, Maine's Hall of Fame.
During his work years, Kevin worked for the Reece Corporation for many years until he decided to go into business for himself. Over the years, he dabbled in many successful business ventures.
He enjoyed traveling with Mary Ellen, family & social gatherings, boating on Sebago Lake, and was always a lucky visitor to the casinos. He loved horseracing and enjoyed betting a pony or two! Kevin was a member of the Yarmouth AMVETS (Sons) and enjoyed being at the club with his friends. But in recent years, his favorite pastime was attending his grandsons sporting events. He was so proud of the boys and did his best to never miss a game.
Kevin will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.
