OBITUARY
Lewis Johnson Haycock
August 21, 1955 – December 29, 2020
Belgrade, ME - Lewis J. Haycock formally of Westbrook left us to enter into the gates of heaven on December 29, 2020 at the age of 65.
He was born on August 21, 1955 in Portland, ME. He was a son of the late Walter and Yvonne (Leighton) Haycock McInnis.
Lewis is survived by his siblings, Wally Haycock III and wife Theresa of Florida, Rose Fraser and husband Douglas of Belgrade, ME, Bonne Wheeler of Hallowell, ME, Daniel Haycock of Portland, ME and his half-sister Cheryl Serfes and husband Jeffery of Buxton, ME as well as many nieces and nephews who Lewy loved dearly and they all loved him equally. He was also a brother of the late Marzilla Haycock, who passed away in November, 1965.
He was a social Butterfly and was so loved by many. He worked at Goodwill for many years and volunteered at soup kitchens. Lew loved to dance and loved his music especially Elvis.
Our family wishes to thank Maine General Hospice of Augusta and Waterville for their excellent care for Lewy, he called them his sweet hearts.
There will be a graveside service in May, 2021, with a celebration of life to follow.

Uncle lew, you are going to be missed deeply. All the memories of bbqs and gatherings growing up will forever be in my heart. It was always a pleasure to see you and be greeted with a hand shake and hug. You’re smile was contagious and you’re laugh even better. You will always hold a place in my heart. Love you uncle lew!

Miss you Lew! I’ll always remember you for your love of music and movies, your collection was quite impressive! I could always count on you for a laugh too which we had many. You’re a good man and I will miss you. We will rock out together again someday, until then keep singing and smiling.

We made so many amazing memories together but my favorites are just our talks over coffee. We had many great adventures like fishing, concerts, and even short hikes...but our talks, I’ll cherish them always. You’re forever imprinted on my heart Lew, love and miss you dearly.
