

She was born in Portland, ME on October 16th, 1943, a daughter of the late John F. and Elvira Frances (Pinkham) Woodman. She attended local Portland schools.
Lois worked as a food service manager for many years early in her life and some fish factories in the Portland area. Being the loving and caring mother she was, she dedicated most of her life to taking care of her family , she also did a lot of volunteer work for the Title One school board, and several different food programs around the greater Portland area. In her spare time she loved spending it with her grandchildren and great grandchildren and occasionally played bingo in South Portland. She also enjoyed shopping and making all kinds of arts and crafts.
She is survived by her three children, Angelina Davenport of Portland, Joseph Davenport and his wife Terry Davenport of Standish, and Kathleen Davenport and her companion Martin Chavis of Portland, and Longtime friend of the family Edward Lacours of Portland. She also leaves 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren, as well as a brother, Elliot Valley of Portland and three sisters, Janice Carkuff of Rhode Island, Nancy Withem of Portland and Helena Earley of New Hampshire, and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life at the Barron Center, 1145 Brighton Ave, Portland on Saturday, February 9th from 2 - 4 pm.
Arrangements are under the care of Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services, 981 Forest Ave, Portland.
