She was born on April 28, 1943 in Manchester, N.H. to J. P. Alfred Biron and Marie Lauretta (Vincent) and raised by them and her grandparents, Rose Emma (Auclair) and Antoine Vincent. After graduating from the Villa Augustina in 1961, she attended Notre Dame Hospital Nursing School prior to finding her calling in social services.
She married René Paquin in September of 1964 and raised 3 children, which she cherished as her happiest years. She was skilled and resourceful. By gardening, harvesting the season’s bounties, sewing, cooking, hosting holidays, and deep cleaning to ABBA, John Denver and Phoebe Snow, Louise created a home families envied. She loved purple lilacs and would fragrant the house with bouquets every spring.
One of her life's callings was to rescue others. She worked with people less fortunate than herself, took in cats and dogs, and saved furniture and housewares from yard sales and curbs, giving them all a life of love and affection.
Louise is survived by 3 children and 7 grandchildren: Denise Bennett-Paquin and her wife Jenn of La Mesa, CA with Terah, Simone, and Jules Kalei; Elise Michelson and her husband Bruce of Milwaukie, WI with Piper, Monique and Caroline; Matthew Paquin and his wife Kate of Acton, MA with Andrew. Her passing is also mourned by Louise’s 2 brothers, Jerry and his wife Louise of New Boston, NH and Jean Biron of Bedford, NH., several cousins, and friends.
Services will be held in late spring of 2023.
