Marjorie May Chasse
November 14, 1941 – January 3, 2021
Marjorie M Chasse, 79 of 151 Allen Ave. Portland Maine, passed away peacefully on Sunday January 3, 2021 surrounded by her sister Beverly J Navalta of San Diego, California and her brother William R Landry of Norway, Maine .
Marge was born on November 14th 1941 to William and Mary Landry in Portland Maine. She worked for Fairchild Semiconductor for many years until she was laid off in 1995. Then worked for the AVX Corporation in Biddeford Me. for nine years until she retired in 2004.
She had three nieces and four nephews in which she loved more than anything. Her favorite pet was her dog Chi-Chi, a Chihuahua that she missed very very much after Chi-Chi’s passing. She was a big fan of old Country & Western TV series and movies. Elvis was also one of her greatest performers. She also had a love for horses.
Marge was married to Valier (Roger) Chasse from Ft. Kent, Maine who passed away in October of 2002.
She was staying at the Pinnacle Health & Rehab center (formally South Portland Nursing Home) in South Portland with a fantastic staff for a short period of time before she became ill.
A graveside service will be held at Forest City Cemetery 232 Lincoln St. South Portland on Wednesday January 13, 2021 at 12 noon.
