Mark A Binette
February 5, 1976 – October 5, 2020
Mark A. Binette, 44, of Richmond, was found October 5, 2020, after choosing to end the struggles of this life. Mark was born on February 5, 1976, in Lewiston, Maine, the son of George A. Binette and Aline E. (Brisson) Binette.
Mark graduated from Lewiston High School in 1994. He attended Motorcycle Mechanics Institute in Phoenix, Arizona, before deciding to move back home to be with his family after his mother passed away. For the next 20 years Mark worked for Woody's Performance Center.
Since he was a young boy Mark was excellent at repairing things; in his early years he would break his toys on purpose just so he could fix them. As he got older he began to be interested in ATV's, learning how to repair his own machines and ended up working with small engine repair. Mark enjoyed riding and repairing dirt bikes, 4 wheelers, snowmobiling, making rockets from scratch, tinkering on his jacked up truck and loved country music. Mark was passionate about his guns and talked fondly about memories of the times he and his dad went shooting together; he told his Dad he was interested in looking into working in gun repair and restoration.
Mark was the most kind-hearted man, who would help anyone in his path that he could. He was known to help others, such a fixing a vehicle for little or no money, to ensure his family and friends/neighbors were safe. He liked to “pay it forward” when he could. Mark was very loved by his family and will forever be in our hearts.
He was predeceased by his mother, Aline, in 1999 and his best friend Joey, in 2010, along with his grandparents and many others.
He is survived by his father, George; step-mother, Thelma; sister, Tina; niece and nephew Savanna and Bret; step-sisters Melanie and Tiffany, several uncles, aunt, cousins, many friends, and his dear cats Charlie and Sierra.
Mark’s Dad will always treasure the special times they shared together. Savanna and Bret will always remember the fun and special times spent with "Uncle Mark." Tina will always cherish the fond memories of her time spent with her "favorite brother" her "life-long best friend". We will miss you so much Mark!!! <3
We will have a camp fire in Mark's honor on Saturday October 24, 2020 from 1-4pm at 426 Pond Road. (Please park in dirt driveway and you will find us behind the garage.) Feel free to stop by and share some good memories of Mark.

Since Tina and I have been friends since 8 years old, I consider Mark to be like a brother. I am sad at his passing. I will remember the adventures on four wheelers and his confidence with machines.
