Nancy Joan Morin

Yarmouth, ME - Nancy Joan (Wilichoski) Morin age 79, passed away peacefully at Coastal Manor, Yarmouth ME. Nancy was born on September 30, 1940 in Everett, Massachusetts and spent her childhood in Middleton and Danvers with her parents Philip and Mary Wilichoski along with her younger Brothers Philip and Bobby and Sisters Janet and Marylou. It was during high school in Danvers and through mutual friends; Nancy met the love of her life and future husband William “Billy” Morin. Nancy attended Merrimack College in Andover MA and graduated with a degree in Biology. Nancy would then become a Certified Medical Technologist.

Nancy and “Her Billy” would marry in 1963, soon after they had their son Christopher; later followed by a daughter, Nancy. It was a short time after living in Middleton the family would move to Otisfield, Maine then later settling in Norway, Maine, and not long after retirement, Nancy and Billy moved to Clearwater, FL. to enjoy their retirement. Nancy worked as a medical technologist at Bon Secour Hospital in, Methuen, MA and later on at Bridgton Hospital, Bridgton ME.

Nancy was always a caring person taking care of family. Nancy loved everything outdoors and seeing things grow, as well as gardening, teaching, quilting and playing the organ. Being a mother and spending time with her children, grandkids and great-grand kids was the greatest gift Nancy could have asked for. Time with family was a priority for Nancy. She often made trips with the family to Naples ME to rendezvous with her Parents, Brothers and her Sisters, along with all the nephews and nieces to enjoy summers in Maine. Nancy always made sure to have a ton of food and toys for her kids, nieces, nephews, and grandkids to play with and it was always fun to spend time with her. Nancy had a gift of making you feel like the most important person in the world.

Nancy is predeceased by her Husband of 41 years William ”Billy” O. Morin, Her parents Philip and Mary Wilichoski as well as a brother Philip Wilichoski.

Nancy is survived by her kids Christopher Morin, Saunda Morin, Nancy Nelson, Michael Nelson, Forrest Cox, grandchildren Derek Morin, Brianna Cox, Morgan Cox, Mikayla Morin and Ethan Cox; and great-grandchildren, Audriana Morales and McKenzie Conley. Nancy is also survived by her sister Janet Clinch and her husband Chuck Clinch; Brother Bobby Wilichoski and his wife Peggy Wilichoski, and Sister Marylou Newton, and many many nieces and nephews.
