Paula Diane Fitzsimmons

Paula was born in Portland, ME to Mary (O’Malley)Vessey and Michael Hamrick. She was born on July 2, 1966. She graduated from Portland High School in 1985. Paula was a wonderful wife, mom, daughter, sister, aunt, grandmother, cousin, niece & friend. Paula loved playing card games, going for lunch in OOB, and always had to start her morning with coffee before doing anything. She always helped out anyone when she was able to, and always had a smile on her face. She had a very contagious laugh. She was very easily liked by everyone she met. Paula grew up on Munjoy Hill and always called herself a “Hill girl.” Paula loved her Christmas movies on the hallmark channel as well as listening to various types of music.

Paula is survived by her husband Donald (Bo) Fitzsimmons, Her daughter Laura & Tyler Segal and grandkids TJ, Alyssa, Hunter and Jaxon; her daughter Ashley Trowers, and grandkids Ashlynn and Jamari. Her stepdaughter Antonia West & family, stepson Shaun Preston & family. Her brother Michael Hamrick Jr. & Richard Vessey Jr, her mother Mary Vessey and step father Richard Vessey, Aunt Alice O’Malley and many other family and friends.

Paula was predeceased by Michael Hamrick Sr.

The family has decided to not hold any services at this time and is asking everyone to say a prayer for Paula.
