

Pavlina was born a daughter of the late Vasilka Stankova and Asparuh Gogov on May 27th, 1922 in Montana, Bulgaria.She attended local Montana schools until graduating from high school in 1940.She also married in 1947 to Ivan Daskalov in Bulgaria.
During WWII, she worked in the capital city of Sofia Bulgaria as an accountant with the Ministry of Agriculture.When Totka was born, she stayed at home taking care of her, and after a few years, Vaska as well.As her grandchildren and great grandchildren were born, she helped raise them as well.She was a very loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.Her family came above everything else.
Pavlina loved to do anything creative with her hands.She crocheted, knitted, sewed, and was extremely talented at making clothes, from prom dresses, to casual clothing.She was an amazing artist enjoyed drawing and painting.There was nothing that she could not do..
She is survived by her two children, Totka Atanasov, of South Portland, and Vaska Krasteva of Sofia Bulgaria; her grandchildren, Issidore Mintchev, of Savannah Georgia, Danail and wife Jennifer Minchev of Gorham, Pavlina Petkova - Charbel, of Las Vegas Nevada, Iliyan Petkov of Sofia Bulgaria, and Margarita Krasteva of Sofia Bulgaria; her great grandchildren, Christo Mintchev of San Francisco, CA, Alexander Mintchev of Atlanta, GA, Gerar and Venessa Charbel of Las Vegas, NV, and Sophia and Samuel Minchev of Gorham.
There will be a funeral services at the Wilde Memorial Chapel in Evergreen Cemetery, 672 Stevens Ave, Portland, on Friday, April 17th, 2015 at 11:00 AM.
