

Philip was born in Portland, ME on September 7, 1951 a son of the late Sanford R. & Joan A. (Bradley) King. He grew up in Portland before his family moved to Bristol, CT. After about 10 years in Bristol he and his mother moved backed to Portland, where he would remain.
For the past five years Philip worked for the Portland Trap Co. He passed the time fishing off the piers in the Old Port and he enjoyed being a patron of the real life “Cheers” scene at Rockin’ Ricky’s Tavern.
He is survived by his two brothers Russell A. King and his wife Caroline of Springvale, ME and Clarence Rawding of Lewiston, ME and his sister Marcia Frank and her husband Shawn of Westbrook. He also leaves several nieces and nephews as well as his longtime companion Linda Mae Ash of Portland.
