Rene Michael Thuotte

Born and raised in Maine, Rene attended the Gorham school system. He spent much of his life as a lobsterman, a profession that reflected his deep love of the ocean and the outdoors. When he wasn't on the water, Rene enjoyed fishing, gardening, and landscaping. He found peace in nature and took pride in creating and caring for the things he loved.

Rene was the beloved son of Richard Thuotte and Ann Macmillan, and the cherished stepson of Terry Huntley. He was the husband of Theresa and the loving father of Jennifer Thuotte and Alex Thuotte. He was also a caring stepfather to Josh. Rene was predeceased by his son, Shawn. He is also survived by his brother, Danny, and his stepbrother, Larry, along with many other family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

Rene had a special bond with his beloved cat, Baby Girl, whose companionship brought him great comfort and happiness.

Rene will be remembered for his love of family, his hardworking spirit, and his appreciation for the simple joys of life. His sudden passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew and loved him, but his memory will live on through the lives he touched.

He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered always.
