He was born in Bangor, ME on December 11, 1945 a son of the late Elden and Mary (Kelley) Otis. He served his country in the US Navy for almost four years.
He drove for Metro Bus Company in the Portland area for almost forty years retiring in November of 2018.
He was an active member of the Odd Fellows in South Portland and the VFW in Portland.
He was an avid collector of toy trains and automobiles. He would spend his spare time visiting auctions and yard sales looking for his next piece. He also enjoyed the casino and chatting up anyone who would lend him an ear.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his Brother Steven J. Otis and his wife Kathleen of Westbrook as well as several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at 10 am at the Wilde Memorial Chapel in Evergreen Cemetery, 672 Stevens Ave., Portland. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Yarmouth.
