

Scarborough- Robert Chester Hatch, 80, of Kennebunk, passed away at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House on Saturday, December 6th, 2014 after a long illness. Robert was born August 4th, 1934, a son of the late Wilmont C. and Bernice Hatch.
A carpenter by trade, Robert was a jack of all trades who enjoyed deer hunting and brook fishing.
Surviving Robert is his loving wife of 61 years; Virginia May (Dennett) Hatch, his seven daughters; Linda Cluff of Kennebunkport; Barbara Bunnell and her husband Willie of North Carolina; Ramona Descoteaux and her husband Paul of Florida and Maine; Donna Shaw of Kennebunk; Tammy Bickford and her husband Wade of Kennebunkport; Vicki Davis of Springvale; and Lisa Lord and her husband John of Kennebunk and he also leaves many grandchildren, Great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Robert is predeceased by a granddaughter Jessica Bailey, a grandson Jason Laprel, two sisters; Lillian Yates and Donna Vachon, and two brothers Arthur Hatch and Freeman Hatch.
There will be a memorial service in the spring.
