

Bob was born in Auburn, ME on June 30, 1935 a son of the late Robert and Mary Wike. He attended local schools and graduated from Edward Little High School and he continued on to receive his Associate’s degree from Portland Junior College in 1959.
He proudly served In the U.S Army in 1954 and earned an Honorable Discharge in 1957. While serving in the Army, he graduated from the U.S. Army Finance School, Army Intelligence School and the Army non-commissioned officer’s school.
Bob’s professional career involved working at several local distribution companies, where he served as a warehouse and distribution manager. In his earlier years he served on many local Portland Youth Athletic Boards of Directors as well as being a member of the Italian Heritage Center and the Holy Name Society, St. Peters Catholic Church in Portland.
Besides his parents, he was pre-deceased by Pauline M. Ciriello Wike to whom he was married to for 36 years. Surviving are his two children Ann-Marie Bachelder and her husband Frank, David Wike and his wife Kimberly, four grandchildren, Anthony Fasulo, Gina Fasulo, Devin Gore and Dylan Wike, all of Portland. He also leaves a sister Judy Steinetz, of California and his longtime companion of 17 years, Joyce Slocum and her Children Peter Nilsen and his wife Linda and Robin Hill and her husband Kenny and their extended families.
With respect to Bob’s wishes, there will be no services. The family would like to give a special thank you to the Hospice Team and Dr. Frederick and staff.
