Roxanne was born September 6, 1948 in Portland Maine to Catherine Lewis and Arthur Field at Maine General Hospital. She attended Windham High School in the 60’s.
Her most recent employment was as a volunteer driver for Community Concepts, mostly driving two brothers, Forrest and Adam for almost 15 years. Previous to that she was well known at “The Store” in Bath, Maine as well for making food and keeping Bath residents happy and fed.
Roxie was a long time member of the Post 13 in Durham, Maine and American Legion in Lisbon, Maine. She enjoyed time with her family, especially her late husband. They traveled all over The states together and loved catching a NASCAR race on their travels. She was an avid reader, gamer, NASCAR and NFL fan.
She is lovingly survived by her two children, Michael Zemla and his wife Brenda of North Carolina, and Rusty Gerry and his wife Janelle of Nebraska. Her granddaughter, Kayleigh Morris and her husband James, their two children, Jada and Carter of Auburn, Maine. A grandson Alexander Gerry of Lewiston, Maine. Step grandchildren, Dustin, Kylea, Breanna, Nikki, Chelsea, Amber and Tanner. Also, number of siblings around the state.
Her survivors are at peace knowing she is reunited with her loving Husband, and our Pa, Russell Gerry.
She will forever be remembered lovingly as Nana to all who came around.
