Sharon Ann Nichols

She was born to Kenneth Muise Sr. and the late Ruth (Carey) Muise, June 22, 1949, in Lynn, MA. Sharon graduated from Lynn English High School in 1967.She was married to Roy Nichols, Jr. in 1987, they lived together in Lynn, MA., before relocating to Waterville, ME. in 1993.

As a young adult Sharon was active in the St. Jeans Drum and Bugle Corps., she carried her love of music throughout her life. She loved the blues, among her favorites were The Beatles, John Mayall, and Leon Russell. She loved to cook, doing the puzzles in the daily newspaper, and sitting on the porch watching the world go by.

Sharon was an employee of the State of Massachusetts, also worked as a waitress, and finally retiring from working life as an employee of McDonalds.

Sharon is survived by four children: Sean and Lawrence Gillis, of Waterville; Colleen Valera, of Gardiner; and Roy Nichols III, of Topsham. She is also survived by three Grandchildren: Gino and Gianna Valera, of Gardiner; and Sarah Cookson-Gillis of Fairfield.

Graveside services to be held in Massachusetts at a later date.
