Sidney was a classmate of mine at North Yarmouth Academy. I always enjoyed the political discussions that he had with others in our class. I use to see Sidney often while we were both doing our grocery shopping at Hannafords. We would always chat for awhile. I noticed that he had not been there for some time. I wished I had known he was not well. My thoughts and prayers are with his wife who he often talked about. Peace be with you Sidney

Sydney was a classmate of mine and we grew up in Yarmouth. I tried to keep in touch over the years and visited with him whenever I was back in Maine. Sydney was a good man and I always enjoyed his company. He honorably served his country when many wouldn’t. I shall miss Sydney, but I’m comforted knowing he is in Heaven and reunited with his family. My prayers go out to his wife, Susie. Rest in Paradise my friend and I will see you once again someday.

Susie, I am so sorry to hear about Sidney. What I will always remember is his teaching a Sabbath School class at the White Memorial Church when I visited. His interest in the Bible was evident in his teaching. May God's presence give you peace and comfort during this difficult time.
