
Auburn, ME.- Sigrid M. Fields, 67, of Auburn passed away at Hospice House after a long illness. She was born in Dansville, New York on April 2nd, 1947; the daughter of Carl and Bernice Johnson. Sigrid was a graduate of Harwich High School, class of 1965. Sigrid went on to work at the lunch program at Harwich High School and later worked as a nurse's assistant at Cape Cod Regional Technical High School. Once she moved with her family to Maine, Sigrid was a secretary at Family Practice at CMMC. She also worked as a hostess at several area restaurants, where her son loved to visit her at. Sigrid loved to crochet and was always making afghans for her friends and family. Some of Sigrid's other loves in life include her grandchildren, the Red Sox, making the best Kale Soup, her cat Kyra and especially Neil Diamond music, which her son played for her during her last days. Sigrid also loved Cape Cod and all her friends there. Sigrid is survived by her two sons Sean M. Fields, 45, of Orleans, MA and Dana Fields, 43, of Lewiston, ME and his companion Kandis Bean of Auburn, ME., siblings, Thomas and Robert Johnson of Harwich, MA., her mother Bernice Johnson of Harwich, MA., nieces and nephews, Evelyn Shaw, Christopher Johnson and Marc Johnson, grandchildren, Amanda Fields, Noah Fields, Olyvya Bean, Mackenzie Fields and Madison Fields, and special friends, John and Alberta Fields, Deborah and Roy Shaw, her neighbor, Colleen, Marie Fields and lifelong friend Betsy Crowell. Sigrid was predeceased by her father Carl R. Johnson.
