

Steven attended Old Town High School, where he was involved in school plays, and graduated from Eastern Maine Vocational Technical Institute (EMVTI).
He was employed at Idexx Laboratories, and had also worked at ABS (Sharp Copiers), University of Southern Maine, and Data General.
Steven was very involved with several clubs and organizations including American Radio Relay League (ARRL), Maine Amateur Radio Emergency Service (ARES), Falmouth Rod and Gun Club, NRA, volunteer Hunter Safety instructor for the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife, Standish Fire Department, USS Kasimar Star Trek fan club, and the Data General Bowling League, and he was an active member of Emmanuel Assembly of God in Portland for forty years.
His collection passions included Star Trek, old TV Westerns, Disney and Looney Tunes. He was very proud of the fact that he was using his dad’s old tools. Helping out on sidelines for fundraising walks for many different causes was another favorite volunteer activity as well as lending a hand at the Maine Wildlife Park in Gray. To those around him he was a helpful, sweet person with plenty of stories.
Steven was predeceased by his parents. Surviving are his sister, Ann Marie Sidelinker of Bradley, numerous cousins scattered across the U.S. Including Idaho, Florida, North Carolina, Massachusetts, Maine, and various points in between, and many good friends and co-workers in all parts of Maine and New England.
His memorial service will be held Saturday September 12 at 11 am at Emmanuel Assembly of God, 1571 Washington Ave, Portland. It will have a time for memories and stories. A second memorial service in the Bangor area will be held September 26 at 11 am at the Bradley Family Worship Center, 79 Highland Ave, Bradley
