Oh Sue, I will miss you. Many descendants of your yard plantings live on at my house, and remind me of you each year as the seasons pass. Thank you for your smile, your generous, warm heart, and your laughter. Rest in peace.

Sue was so welcoming and helpful to me during her days at PPS Central Office. Her kindness always made the day better. We continued to connect as she worked over at PATHS. She always had a kind word or upbeat phrase to lighten my day. I still have the beautiful card she gave me of a sunflower, because it reminded me of her and her talents as a photographer. Her passing so saddens me.

I shall miss this dear sweet lady so much! I worked with her at LL Bean and had the great pleasure of meeting up with her again at Estabrook's in Yarmouth many years later where we both purchasing our summer flowers and renewed our friendship. Her wonderful attitude towards life and generosity of spirit will be missed. Rest well, dear Sue.

I first met Sue when we were students at the University of Maine. We had many Auburn people in common. She was such a beautiful person and I enjoy many discussions with her whenever our paths crossed over the years. She was always gracious, funny...so smart and always laughing. My condolences to her family.

Aunt Betty and my mother Anita were sisters. Susan was my first cousin As a first child, her mother taught her well to be a lady and how to be gracious and generous. Whenever she visited Bob and I, there always a plant in hand or gift. Susan worked hard and enjoyed taking pictures of her flowers and then making them into
beautiful cards. We were shocked to hear that she had passed and will remember her laugh and joyfulness. Our sincere sympathy to her family and dear friends. Roberta and Bob

My condolences to her friends and family.
I knew Sue when she worked for Portland schools in the Superintendent's office. She was a class act- always welcoming and professional. We would run into each other after I left the school department and each time it was as if we'd seen each other a day or two ago. Wonderfully creative, kind; she will be missed.

I met Sue at U Maine orientation, and we ran into each other often on campus. Over the years we ran into each other as our lives crossed paths. I am sad to learn of her passing. I always thought of her as a kind and gentle soul.

I am very sad to see this. I met Sue years ago in a photography class at USM. Sue, Karl, Jay and I bonded in the class, and continued our photographic adventures and friendship for several years. We named ourselves "Photo Four" and planned photo excursions (usually with a meal involved), an exhibition or two, and note cards we produced and sold. I remember Sue's beautiful images of flowers she grew in her garden. She had a generous spirit and wonderful laugh, and I'm so glad our paths crossed, if just for a while.
