Tyrone was born on March 30, 1956 in Fort Fairfield, ME, a son of the late Thomas O. & Mary (Anderson) Williams. He attended schools in Fort Fairfield and went on to attend the University of Maine.
He was a short order cook for several years and he owned a pet boarding business. He also served his country as a member of the US Army, being honorably discharged in 1979.
Tyrone spent time in both North Carolina and Connecticut until 2005; after coming home to Maine in 2005 he enjoyed gardening and feeding the neighborhood birds with his many feeders.
He is survived by his son Matthew R. Williams, his siblings Alexa (Williams) Fair of Ellicott City, MD, Thoedore Williams of NH, Barbara (Williams) Kelly of Germantown, MD and Cynthia (Williams) Watson of Fort Fairfield, ME.
