Walter C. Russell

Lisbon Falls, ME - Walter C. Russell Sr. 67 of Lisbon Falls passed away August 17, 2019 passed away suddenly at home of a heart attack. Walter was born in Lisbon Falls Maine, to Francis E. Russell, and Dorthy Russell on August 7, 1952. He attended school in Lisbon Falls and graduated from Lisbon High School.  He married Faye Jewell on June 16, 1973 in Lisbon Falls.  In his working career he worked as a machine operator to maintenance for Us Gypsum,Masonite, IP Wood fiber division, and Night Celotex for 38 1/2 years And Savage Safe Handling for 4 years.

He had a passion for NASCAR collectibles and watching races, camping, hunting, fishing, wood working, making and sharing his cookies for most holidays and knitting. He was predeceased by his parents. His sister Lois Jean Hill, and youngest  son Michael Edwin Russell. He is survived by his wife of 46 yrs. His daughter Tammy. His son Walter Jr. Grand daughter  Lillian Grace Hosmer Russell, brother Edwin Russell Sr. and wife Laura, James Russell and wife Karen and several nieces and nephews. The family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Lisbon Emergency, Lisbon Fire department,and Lisbon Police department. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial/ Celebration of life will be held on 11 am on September 7, 2019 at the Lisbon Falls United Methodist  Church 14 School Street, Lisbon Falls, ME
