Wendy Jean Esman Deschenes was born April 25, 1968. She passed away December 28, 2024 unexpectedly in her home. She was the best mother and 'Ama' any child could ask for. She was a kind soul that would help anyone the best she could. She enjoyed her grandchildren and getting everyone together as much as she could. As well as camping, music and hiking. She loved to sing and practice her craft. She worked hard as a mom and even harder as a grandmother. She will always be remembered for her chipper attitude and her ability to find a headband for any and all holidays.
She was predeceased by her father Arthur Esman and her mother Joan Esman as well as her great nephew Camden Emmons. She is survived by her children Grace Smith, 38, from Litchfield. Chuck Norris, 37, of Winthrop. Kristina Mauro, 35, of Auburn, Kimberly Deschenes, 31, of Auburn and her partner Jim Francis of Lewiston. Her grandchildren Gage, Samantha, Hana, Evan and Cody. As well as her bonus grandchildren Christian, Liliana, Christopher, Daniel, Benjamin, Tyler and Haley. Her brothers Arthur JR and Glendon Esman and sisters Learna Parkins and Peggy Savage. As well as many nieces, nephews and great aunts and Uncles.
