

Dennis was a member of the Oasis of Love Church in Shippensburg PA and a member at Fresh Wind Ministries in Pueblo CO. Dennis had a passion for God and was a businessman for most of his life. Faith was central to his life, and his favorite saying was “no such thing as luck, but hard work”! Always reminding people that no one just gets lucky in life or in business, but success comes by hard work. He was a giver, an evangelist who loved people and loved to be part of building a local church and supported various missions around the world.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years Charla D Cook (Bible) of Pueblo CO, married on May 20, 1980, along with their dogs, cats and horses. His children, Danett Shaffer, Fayetteville PA, Dennis Cook Jr (Sam) wife (Lisa Marie), Mercersburg PA, Karin Sue Anderson, Chambersburg PA. Sisters Deb Gilbert (Merle) Chambersburg PA and Kelly Tolbert (Randy) Fayetteville PA; 5 grandchildren, Zachary, Nichole, Annalee, Michael, Rachael; 3 great grandchildren, Michael, Aubree, Fischer. In addition to his parents, Dennis was preceded in death by his uncle, Larry Fahnestock, wife (Janet).
Visitation will be held Tuesday March 31, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, at T.G. McCarthy Funeral Home 329 Goodnight Ave Pueblo, CO 81004
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday April 1, 2026, at T.G. McCarthy Funeral Home 329 Goodnight Ave Pueblo, CO 81004, with Pastors Mark and Danette Griego officiating. Interment will be at Roselawn Cemetery following the funeral service.
