Esther Marie (Clark) Thomason departed this life on September 23, 2026. She was born July 6, 1938, to Elvin “Jack” Clark and Emma Muessig in Eugene, Oregon. Esther was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Thomason, parents, Jack and Emma, and brother John. She is survived by her sister, Rosalie Clark, her son, Michael Wakefield and his wife, Kay, and grandchildren Gregory Wakefield and Elizabeth Wakefield. She was deeply loved and is missed by everyone who knew her.
Esther worked alongside her husband Tom as a co-entrepreneur in several businesses they owned in New Mexico. She moved to Pueblo, CO, in 2012 to be closer to family. She loved her pets, a parrot she found in Las Cruces named Coco, and Ginger, a dog who rescued her. Esther enjoyed many hobbies, including baking, knitting, crocheting, stamp collecting, coin collecting, gardening and visiting with her closest friends.
