Irene E. Howard, 90, was born April 8, 1928, and passed December 26, 2018. Irene was born in Monmouth, Oregon. She spent her childhood years living on the family farm in Polk County. She attended Beauticians School, and earned her certificate shortly after high school. She eventually moved to Salem and there met Robert Howard and married him. Irene worked for a short time with the State of Oregon, at DMV headquarters. From there she went into her lifetime of being a beautician. Some 60 plus years. Irene's husband, Robert L. Howard, preceded her in death. Irene is survived by her 3 sons, Victor (Debbie) from Salem, Terry (Cindy) from Pueblo West, CO and Pat from Salem. She has 9 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandsons. Celebration of Life will be at 1 p.m., January 5, 2018 at Kingwood Bible Church, 1125 Elm Street NW, Salem Oregon 97304.
