

Kenneth Eugene Harvey Sr., 92 of Pueblo left his earthly home for his heavenly home after a lengthy illness. At the time of his death he was surrounded by his loving family in his home. Kenneth was born on July 22, 1920 in Channing, Texas to William and Minnie Harvey. He is survived by his loving wife, Ruth who he loved for 67 years. His family was most important to him and he is survived by five children: Nancy and Karen Harvey of Colorado Springs, Keith (Diana) Harvey of Creighton, NE, Kenneth Jr. and Karl Harvey of Pueblo. In addition, Kenneth had four loving grandchildren: Lance (Sandi) Harvey of Pueblo; Brandon (Deon) Harvey of Parkville, MD; Heather Harvey of SantaFe, NM, and Stacy Harvey Denver. Four great grandchildren: Charlotte and Clara Harvey (MD) and Brooke and Hunter Harvey of Pueblo will miss their grandpa very much. He is survived by three sisters all in California (Louella Mau, Irene (John) Bateman, and Lois Anderson). Ken was a proud American who served in the Army during World War II in the European and African Campaign. For 41 years Ken worked in the Power Department at the Colorado Fuel and Iron Corporation. At his retirement he was a Foreman for the Power Department. Kenneth's greatest enjoyment was spending time with his family fishing, hunting, and working at their cabin in Westcilffe, Colorado. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Viewing will be held on Monday, November 5, 2012 from 4-7 pm at T.G. McCarthy Funeral Home. Services to be held at T.G. McCarthy on Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at 2:00 pm with interment in Imperial Gardens with military honors.
