Patrick graduated from Pueblo South High School in 1986 and attended Pueblo Community College. He worked at Target Warehouse for 12 years and at H&R Block for 2 years, then retired after 23 years with the Department of Corrections. In later years he drove for DoorDash and Uber for 3 years.
Pat loved all people and cared deeply about his community. He could never tell a lie and would do whatever it took to make things right. He knew how to connect with anyone, and he took pride in caring for those he loved.
Patrick was more than just an uncle. He was a true father figure to his niece and nephews. His love and presence shaped them into who they are today.
Pat took care of his family to the fullest. He and his wife, Becky, shared many interests together. Pat always said they shared the same brain because they had so many common thoughts. He would always tell her she was his last chapter in life, and they were looking forward to spending many more years together. Their love for each other was strong, and they had a deep connection from the moment they met. Patrick and his stepson Joseph would talk for long hours about everything and anything. Patrick gave Joseph so much guidance, advice, and encouragement, and Joseph will miss that greatly.
He was a devoted fan of WWE wrestling, the Denver Broncos, and the Detroit Lions. He loved jazz and blues, with Prince and Brian Culbertson among his favorite artists, and he was happiest hiking and spending time in the mountains. Pat loved Mexican food, the hotter the better. His favorite spot was Romero's Cafe in Blende, where everyone knew him and his order: cheese enchiladas with hot green chili. He loved to cook and spoiled his wife and family with the delicious meals he made. He also had many beloved pets.
Pat was preceded in death by his late wife, Sharon Liverman; his parents, Clarence and Karen Liverman; father-in-law Raymond V. Esquibel; uncles Leo Green, Leroy Green, and Joseph Taylor; and aunts Eleen Green, Lucille (Russ) DeCarlo, and Betty (Harold) Holtz.
He is survived by his wife, Becky Liverman; stepson Joseph Ulibarri; sister Sandra (Mark) Lasater; father- and mother-in-law Bill and Mary Murray; brother-in-law Raymond (Marlette) Esquibel; sisters-in-law Poppy (Chris) Sanchez and Felicia (Mark) Padallia; and aunts Norma (Wayne) Devendorf and Carol Taylor. He also leaves behind nieces and nephews Michael Brown, Vincent (Jennifer) Johnson, Isabella Johnson, Lexi (Nick) Tedesko, Vanna (Tyler) Kohn, Mason Sanchez, Samantha Archuletta, Tim (Lexus) Padallia, Caitlyn (Michael) Garcia, and Hayden Sanchez; numerous cousins, including Larry, Kenny (Angie), and Travis (Brandy) Taylor, with whom he shared many fond memories; great-nieces and great-nephews; and close family friends Kathy (Don) Morgan, Scott Vayle, and Josh Johnson.
A Celebration of Life for Patrick will be held at St. Joseph’s Hall, 1145 S Aspen Rd, Pueblo, CO 81006, on November 21, 2026, from 2 PM to 7 PM.
