i love you mimi. i wasn’t old enough to remember you when you passed, but i really wish i was. i’ve heard so many things about you, and a lot of the time i feel connected to you. you will always have a special place in my heart. i always think of you on our birthday, as well as just randomly because i wonder how strong our bond would be if we had more time. although i don’t have any memories of you, i still miss you so much. i love you ❤️

Hello dear Barbara, 
We shared lots of good times as kids and reconnected as "grown-ups". You were a good friend. I'm glad my son's got to know you at the Hayes Barton Pharmacy when they were little kids many year after you and I played together in Longview Gardens. I know your Mom's smile will warm the sky when she sees her sweet Barbara walking through the gates of Heaven to be with her and your Dad. I know when I get to heaven she will probably try to straighten me out since I used to drive the entire Bryan family crazy when you all lived next door. Ha. I hope she's forgotten or at least forgiven.
 I will miss you but more than that, I will remember you for being the kind soul you have always been and thanks for brightening my day when we crossed paths by laughing at my jokes and sharing your time.

Barbara was in my small group many years ago- and I had the privilege of praying for her and her beloved family.    I admired her deep trust in Jesus and her ability to love on others so well. Her joy in the Lord was constantly seen by the smile on her face and the twinkle in her eyes.   I am sorry that she has left us- she was a special lady.  But, she is now with her Jesus and one day, we will meet again.   Thank you Barbara- for the life you lived and the differences you made.

Hey Mom, today makes a week that Jesus took you from me to live with you. It has been the hardest thing loosing you mom. I know you are so much better in heaven with Jesus and your parents. Help me to be a better person and to walk in your footsteps. I miss you everyday mom, sometimes I really think this is a BAD dream.

There's so much that I want to say but there are really no words good enough to express the depth of love and friendship that we shared. We were and always will be more alike than anyone but the two of us ever knew.So many memories!! I will do my best to be strong and to be there for your children, grandchildren, and for Bob, to help them in any way that I can. You are now with the one that you love best...your Jesus. I have been trying to figure out the words to write since Tina Bug showed me this, and to be honest there is no way I can put it into words how much you will be missed by every single life you touched, including mine. You were never just my best friend's mama; to me you were so much more than that. You were "Mama B", you were like a second mother to me. From the moment I met you, you welcomed me with open arms and treated me like I was one of your own (even scolding me every now and then when it was needed). I consider myself so blessed to have had Tina and you come into my life, and I wanted you to know I will keep my promise I made to you all those years ago. I will always be here for her, whenever she needs me and whatever it is she may need.

Barbara dear, I will remember your love for Christ , what a legacy. I treasure the bible study times we shared on Tuesday mornings. You loved loved loved your family and they were always part of our prayers as we fellowshiped together. Go Girl !

I send my deepest sympathy to each and and everyone of you.  As you know I came into Barbara's life when she was 10 years old.  I watched her grow in to a strong spiritual woman that loved the Lord.  It showed in every word she said and to every person she met.  When I talked to her last week, she was excited about Brittanni's up coming wedding. She said that God had been showing her things that she needed to address and she was full of hope for the future. She was the glue that held you all together. You as well as I didn't have to think about calling her. She called us because she always kept us all in her  prayers. If we did need someone to talk to She was always there to listen day or night. I look forward to the day I see her again. And I know where I will find her. She will be sitting at Jesus 
feet. I love you All

Bobbie, still can't believe you are gone. You loved your family more than words can say and made many sacrifices. Since I was a little girl, I knew you were a strong woman. You loved the Lord so much and I have peace knowing we will meet again. Our family has lost touch, but you tried your best to make phone calls to keep connected. Tomorrow will be a difficult day. I pray that God will will wrap his arms around Bob, your children and siblings.....please give them peace.

As a 15 year old girl & into my college years, I had the pleasure to work with Barbara at Hayes Barton Pharmacy.  Her contagious smile & laughter, encouraging spirit & love for me will never be forgotten.  Barbara was full of love and if you knew Barbara, you knew you were loved.  What a testimony to how the love of God can impact one's life.  Barbara loved God and that love transferred in all her relationships, especially in the way she loved her family!  So thankful that God brought Barbara into my life.  I know she will be missed by many! 

Sending my love and prayers to the family.  Praying that you would experience God's love, presence and peace in a new way, because that's what Barbara would want for you! :)

When I heard the news about Barbara, I immediately thought of this poem as there was no doubt in my mind of where she is:

Bella says "I wuv you" and "Sank You" for her Valentines day card.  It hurts to think I wont be seeing any more of your sweet cards every Holiday.  We love you so very much and will miss you more than I can say.

I only met her once, at Bella's first bday party last May. She seemed like a really nice lady, and then she friended me on Facebook.  I enjoyed her posts of Bible verses, and other encouraging things she would put on her wall.  You could really see the real person she was shining through.  I know that heaven has another angel, and my heart goes out to her family.  I pray that God is with you during this very difficult time.

She brought laughter and light to a room, & her heart was always big enough to include anyone she met because of the light of God's love in her.
