Charles was born December 18, 1923 in New York, NY to Michael and Rose Lana Sciabarasi. He was a WWII veteran of the US Army Air Force. Charles was employed as the Director of Employee Relations at Scovill Manufacturing of Wake Forest. He was a founding member of Saint Raphael the Archangel Catholic Church in Raleigh.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Sciabarasi; son, David Sciabarasi and his wife, Patty; daughter, Suzin Barnes of Austin, TX; two grandchildren, Celeste Sciabarasi; and Jackson Barnes.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 12:00 noon on Monday, January 10th, 2011 at Saint Raphael the Archangel Catholic Church, 5801 Falls of Neuse Road, Raleigh, NC 27609. Interment in the church columbarium will follow the service. The family will receive friends prior to the service 11:00 – 12:00 o’clock at the church.
