Claire Goodwin Lathan,86, passed away on September 16, 2015 in Raleigh, NC. She was born in Denmark, SC to the late Ghue Barnes Goodwin and Roberta Lancaster Goodwin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Alva M. Lathan, and her brother, Norman Goodwin. She is survived by her two daughters, Pam Lathan Palmer and Kim Lathan Neisler (Rick), sisters Carolyn Black and June Black, and grandchildren; Janna Neisler Myers (Doug), Robert Palmer, Will Neisler, and Richard Palmer.
A Celebration of Life will be held at White Memorial Presbyterian Church, Raleigh on Friday, September 18, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with a visitation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Transitions LifeCare or White Memorial Presbyterian Church, 1704 Oberlin Road, Raleigh, NC 27608.
