My brother lived a free spirited, hardworking but simple life. He loved living in the country. The simple life, where he could enjoy nature, hunting, and fishing. Daylon, cherished his many dogs, cats, and friends.
He never met a stranger and loved his mama and took care of her as she declined. He loved family and friends especially his niece Katie, as well.
He loved to reminisce and he told many, many stories about his wild younger days with friends. Daylon would say “Yeah, I did it all” and then just laugh.
He had the best sense of humor all his life, and kept that humor even during troubling times.
Daylon had a deep respect for our country and the veterans. He donated to them regularly.
Daylon is survived by Mother, Rosina Watkins; Sister, Doris Lewis; Niece, Katie Glover; first cousin, Carla Watkins Zazeela; and friends, Sam and Carol Cox who were his best neighbors, who deserve a special Thank You!
He will be deeply missed and was so loved.
