Dorothy Joan Baratta, 78, of Raleigh, NC passed peacefully at home on October 6, 2014. Born October 1, 1936 in Jersey City, NJ, she is survived by her three sons – Mark Baratta of Raleigh, NC and his wife Debbie – John Baratta of Brentwood, TN and his wife Donna and Matt Baratta of Virginia Beach, VA as well as two grandchildren – Brandon Baratta of Birmingham, AL and Devon Baratta of Atlanta, GA. She was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, John Patrick Baratta, Jr.
The funeral will be at St. Raphael Catholic Church on Friday, October 10, 2014 at 11:30 am.
