Edward Joseph Grace

Edward Joseph Grace, 88, of Raleigh passed away on Thursday August 2, 2012. Born in Brooklyn, NY on May 22, 1924 to the late Edward and Anna Balzer Grace. Edward was a US Navy veteran. He retired after 40 years of dedicated service from Westinghouse Corp, where he was an international salesman. Mr. Grace was a member and usher at St. Raphael the Archangel Catholic Church in Raleigh, and he enjoyed playing bridge and gardening.

Surviving are: his wife, Ruth B. Grace of Raleigh; two daughters and son-in-laws, Susan Yeaman and her husband Barry Yeaman of Fuquay Varina, Patricia Grace and her husband, Joseph Brizzoli of Holly Springs; two grandchildren, Christine DeGuzman and David Yeaman; two great-grandchildren, Ava and Lea DeGuzman; a sister, Edna Grace of Brooklyn, NY.

The family will receive friends 1:00 – 2:00 PM Monday at St. Raphael the Archangel Catholic Church, 5801 Falls of Neuse Rd., Raleigh, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00 PM.
