Edward J. O’Sullivan, 73, of Raleigh, NC passed away peacefully trusting in the Lord on Sunday, July 14, 2013. He is survived by his wife of 51 years Janice O’Sullivan; son, John O’Sullivan and his wife Sharon of Southern Pines, NC; daughter, Susan Roberson and husband Greg of Raleigh, NC; brothers, Richard and Gary O’Sullivan and their families.
Ed retired from IBM in 1994. Much of his retirement was spent serving God through Stephen Ministry. He and his wife Jan served as volunteers with the national organization and Ed was instrumental in starting the Stephen Ministry Network of the Triangle. He was privileged to serve as head of Stephen Ministry at his church for 19 years with God’s help.
Ed loved his lake house and all the traveling he did in retirement.
A service of celebration will be held at Grace Community Church at 6561 Meridian Dr., Raleigh, NC at 2:30 P.M. on Wednesday, July 17, 2013.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Grace Community Church-Stephen Ministry.
