Elizabeth T. Weaver

Elizabeth T. Weaver, 92, of Raleigh, NC passed away on October 31, 2013 at Wake Med Hospital. Mrs. Weaver lived in Orlando, FL for 56 years before moving to Raleigh in 2013. She was born in Ravena, NY on December 25, 1920 to the late Andrew and Laura Tanner.

She was preceded in death by husband Tellis Weaver owner of Weaver Printing Company in Orlando for over 60 years; also preceded in death by sisters Dorothy, Betty, Jane and brother William. She is survived by sons Roger Weaver and Gloria of Raleigh, NC and Alexander Cole and Majorie of Watkins Glen, NY. Step-son Edward Weaver and Nancy of Orlando, FL. She has four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and four step-grandchildren.

The family would like to thank the staff at Wake Med Hospital for their care in the hours preceding her death. A very special thanks to the staff at Kindred (Sunnybrook) Transitional Care for the years of loving service she was given and before that Elmcroft Assisted Living.

Funeral service will be Sunday November 3, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 1701 E. Millbrook Rd., Raleigh NC 27609. Her family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home. Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery, Orlando FL.
