Erma Duchene Hoban passed away on November 11, 2015 just short of turning 91. She was born on December 19, 1924 in a small Coal Mining Town in Southern Illinois, Coello, IL. At the age of 16 she left home for Chicago and started building a life for her and her family, through hard work and sacrifice. Erma had a very loving and special relationship with her grandchildren; Emily Ann, Jon Richard, Tyler Patrick and her great-granddaughter Olivia Allorah.
The family is most appreciative for the care given to her by Mary Roberts and all the other caregivers of who helped her for these past few years. And no words can ever express the gratitude felt by the family for care given her during the last weeks of her life by Janis and Emily.
Erma was preceded in death by her father Frank Duchene, loving mother Adelia Battagliotti, younger sister Tulia Delestrez, her 2nd husband Arthur Zdobylak and her first husband and constant friend John J. Hoban Sr.
