Francis Gerald Sullivan Jr.

Jerry was born October 6, 1916 in Detroit, MI to Mary and Francis Gerald Sullivan, Sr. He was a veteran of the US Navy Reserves where he served three years during World War II. Jerry married Wanda Nunn on July 1, 1944. He received his BS degree in mechanical engineering from Wayne State University and his master's degree in automotive engineering from the Chrysler Institute. Jerry was a member of the Lady Lake United Methodist Church, Society of Automotive Engineers and the American Radio Relay League.

Jerry is survived by his wife of 66 years, Wanda Nunn Sullivan; and his daughter, Carol and her husband Charles Parron of Clayton, NC.

A memorial service will be held 3:00 p.m. Thursday, September 9, 2010 at Springmoor Retirement Community, 1500 Sawmill Road, Raleigh, NC 27615. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
