Frank was born in Connecticut to Polish immigrants. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during WWII. After the war, Frank attended college and then had a 40 year career with IBM. Frank was known as a very generous, compassionate, competitive person with a great listening ear. He was an exceptional ballroom dancer where he met his wife, Isabel Maynard. Frank and Isabel had three children and were married for 37 years until her death. Frank then shared many years with his companion, Patti Manning. Besides dancing, Frank loved playing tennis, golf, and cards. He competed in the Senior Olympics at the state and national level in tennis.
He is survived by his children, Christine, Michael, and Carol (Teri), grandchildren; Alexandria Hankins and Benjamin along with great-nephew Jay Thompson (Deneen).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Frank's memory to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research. (link below)
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
