Gary Ralph Smith

Gary Ralph Smith, 69, of Raleigh, North Carolina, passed away on February 10, 2024, in Raleigh, North Carolina. He was born on May 23, 1954, in Raleigh. Gary was a beloved brother, uncle, and friend. His personality, wit and creativity will be missed by all who knew him.

Gary is survived by his sister, Janet Adams (Dale) of Ocean Isle Beach, North Carolina, his niece, Elizabeth LaPlant (Luke) of Indian Trail, North Carolina, nephew Alex Gaebe (Aleeah) of Wingate, North Carolina, nephew Camden Adams (Amanda) of Huntington Beach, California, nephew John Gaebe (Reanna) of Oxford, United Kingdom, nephew Griffin Adams (Londa) of Flintstone, Georgia, and niece Myla Pitts (Will) of Georgetown, Kentucky.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Marjorie Smith of Raleigh.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 on Saturday, March 2, 2024, at Oakwood Cemetery in Raleigh, North Carolina.
