Gloria S. Koon, 67, died Monday, November 26, 2012. Born September 30, 1945 to the late David and Dorothy Smith, she was a life time resident of Raleigh. She was preceded in death by a brother David Smith Jr. and a half-sister, Shirley Fowler.
Surviving are: her husband, of 44 years, William S. Koon of Raleigh; a sister, Sharon Smith of Raleigh; a brother Michael Smith and wife, Lola of Virginia.
Family will receive friends 6-8 PM Thursday Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 1701 E. Millbrook Rd., Raleigh. A graveside service will be held at 11 AM Friday at Montlawn Memorial Park, 2911 S. Wilmington St., Raleigh.
