Gloria Claudette Williams

She was born on December 17, 1939 in Faith, Rowan County, N.C.

She was preceded in death by parents, Claude Williams and Velma Williams. She is survived by daughters Donna Boyd Mallard (Tim), Lorie Machelle Boyd (Michael), son William Todd (Susan), brother Dan R. Williams (Jan), niece Corbin Neuner (John), nephew Matt Williams (Courtney), five grandchildren, Josh, Brandon, Chris, Megan, Lindsay, six great grandchildren, and her loving partner, Beaman Scarboro.

Claudette attended Lenoir Rhyne College and was a Legal Administrator for the law firms Smith Anderson in Raleigh and Womble Carlyle in Raleigh and Charlotte. She received her Real Estate license in Salisbury and enjoyed her profession for many years and moved back to Raleigh until her retirement. She loved and spent many hours volunteering at Rex Hospital and Wake County school system. She was a member of White Memorial Presbyterian Church and served as a Stephen Minister and various other committees. She love all her family dearly and enjoyed keeping her grandchildren when they were growing up.

A Service of Witnesses to the Resurrection will be held Sunday January 7, 2024 at White memorial Presbyterian Church, 1704 Oberlin Rd., Raleigh, NC 27608 at 2:30 PM. Following the service her family will receive friends in the Jane Bell Gathering Space following the service. The service will also be live streamed at www.whitememorial.org.
