He will be remembered for his love for his family, including his dog Aussie; The NCSU Wolfpack; The Carolina Hurricanes; biking and fishing; and his love for his Savior.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years, Kay H. Holsclaw, his daughters: Keely H. Churchill (Carl), Shapton H. Shapiro, and Rebecca H. Reeder (Chris); and his treasured grandchildren: Carl Churchill IV (Molly), Whit Shapiro, Cline Churchill, John Shapiro, Louisa Shapiro, and Abigail Reeder.
We love you and miss you but know we will be reunited in Heaven!
