Mrs. Helen Muriel Maloney

Helen married the love of her life John Joseph Maloney on February 18, 1950 in Brooklyn, NY. Helen and John moved to Raleigh 2 years ago from Whiting, New Jersey and are affiliated with St. Raphael the Archangel Catholic Church. Helen will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother. She will be deeply missed by everyone blessed to have been touched by her kind heart and sweet soul.

Helen is preceded in death by her son, Patrick Maloney and son-in-law, Vincent Liguori.

Helen is survived by loving husband of 64 years, John J. Maloney; children, John J. Maloney, Jr. and wife Arlene, Joanne Liguori, Robert Maloney and wife Patricia, Chris Maloney and wife Jackie and Kathleen Scorce and husband Christopher; brother, Thomas Gregory Kane; sisters-in-law, Jeanine Kane and Kandy Kane; Twelve Grandchildren and One Great Grandchild and numerous other loving family members and friends.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. to 1:30 P.M. on Friday, June 6, 2014 at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 1701 E. Millbrook Rd., Raleigh, NC.

Funeral Mass will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Friday, June 6, 2014 at St. Raphael the Archangel Catholic Church, 5801 Falls of Neuse Rd., Raleigh, NC 27609. Entombment will follow at Raleigh Memorial Park.
