Helga, I finally found your phone number after our move to houston and Bernard's illness. Finally got him on the road to half way recovery.  I called the number and got no answer just the machine. 832-458-2152 our home phone. I went on line to see if i could find you guys and Bullard's name came up and we are so sorry to hear this. we send our love to you and the boys.  please call when you can and i will continue to call the number i have. I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your husband. Although I never met James, he sounds like a truly loving and caring person and a wonderful husband, father and friend. You were blessed to have found eachother and just as you stood by his side through his illness, he will always be by your side and in your heart and memory forever. I hope it brings you some comfort to know that you have many friends and family that love you and support you and that you are never alone. If you need anything at all, we are here. May God grant you and your family many blessings and the peace and the strength to get through this difficult time.

Helga, Curtis, Jeremy,Miguel, Greg and Gerald:  The class of 1968 is sorry for loss.  We know that your family will miss Grady and the Class of 68 will miss him dearly as well but we have our memories and we will forever carry those memories in our hearts.  Grady was a ray of shine in any setting with that smile and laugh which seem to over power those in his presence.  As I pondered what to say on Grady's Home Going Celebration.  The Serenity Prayer came to mind.  I ask God to grant me the serenity to accept the things that I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.  

Our ways are not God's ways and God choose to call Grady home, this is same road that all us must  travel.  Personally, I am pleased to know Grady accepted God call saying that he was at peace and ready to accept God's promise, acknowleding "In my Father’s house are many rooms. If it was not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you?  The class of 1968 is please to know Grady footprints in the sand of time did make an everlasting impression with family and friends.  Our paryers are with the family and it was our honor,privlidge and a blessing to have known Grady.  Grady was a great husband,father and  friend.

Helga, Curtis and Jeremy :  We are so sorry that James passed away.  May God give you the strength, peace and Love to carry on.  James WAS the Sunshine of the neighborhood. He ALWAYS had a big smile,greeting and a wave for everyone.
Helga, you and James were the first ones we met in this neighborhood 14 years ago. We will remember James smiling, laughing and Bar-B-Q-ing!! We are so blessed to have known him.  Our prayers are with you.

Although I didn't know James that well, on the half dozen or so times that I met with him over the years, I came to realize his kindness and compassion towards his friends and family. To the Bullard Family,Mr. Bullard was so very special to me, I was his "Nita-Bug". I thank God for sharing his child with us all for the years he did. I will miss his laugh, his smile and his cuttin up. He had a rough last 5 months and it gives me comfort knowing that he is in no more pain and is resting peacefully in a better place.It's good to know that I have my own personal angel watching over me. To the Bullard Family, Mr. Bullard was indeed a special friend to all that came in contact with him. I met him at DMV in Wendell many years ago. My family will not forget him and he will be missed very much. Loving and caring person he was, and our prayers are with you.
